For me, personal responsibility is the big keyword in the debate about participation and co-determination - the more there are of us young artists acting on our own responsibility, the more we can move: socio-politically, topically and with an impact on the future. It's about closeness, encounter and humanity.
After all: Performing music, for me, means being allowed to be human. We should urgently question our smooth way of presenting and consuming high culture - and give the respective artist the chance to show his or her own personal view of a piece on stage. In the focus of my work as a concert curator is the search for interfaces between society, existential life topics and especially human transience, death, mourning and music and thus questions of vulnerability and closeness in the concert hall.
